Can I give only once or regularly?
Yes, on the EasyTithe page you can select RECURRING or ONE TIME tabs under the words MY DONATION. If you choose a recurring payment plan you can select a frequency option and a start date. You are able to change or cancel recurring payments at any time.
Does easyTithe charge fees?
About 3% is charged to CBC for each transaction. For example, if $100 is given, CBC will receive $97. If $103 is given, CBC will receive $99.91. You will not receive any charges from easyTithe. EasyTithe provides CBC and our donors with a service and charges us a fee to cover the cost of online transactions. The fees are charged automatically on every payment. If you wish to avoid fees coming from your donation, you can donate via cash, personal check, banker's check, or ACH payment directly to CBC. Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes, all contributions to CBC made through easyTithe are tax deductible. You will receive a total of your yearly contributions from CBC at the beginning of the following year for tax purposes. If you do not see all of your recurring payments, please check your payment option information. If it is incorrect or outdated, easyTithe will not process any payments. How long before I can see a transaction in my bank?
It can take up to 1-2 business days for the transaction to clear your bank. If you still cannot view it, please contact our bookkeeper at finance@cbcsunriver.org.
Why did easyTithe stop processing my recurring payment?
Please check your selected payment option. When credit or debit cards expire or are canceled, easyTithe will stop processing payments until the information is updated. If your payment option is up to date and you still do not see any payments being processed, please contact our bookkeeper at finance@cbcsunriver.org.
Can I give to specific ministries or charities with easyTithe?
You can select from the FUND dropdown menu any of our regular ministry groups and special fund options. Most of CBC's supported missions and charity groups receive regularly scheduled payments from the church's General Fund. Occasionally, we request assistance for a specific organization or need if an emergency arises and will have a specific fund option in easyTithe. If you wish to donate directly to any CBC-supported missions or charities, you can visit their website, as linked on OUR MISSIONARIES page.
Giving With Text
An alternate method of reaching the easyTithe page to give to CBC is to text 541-568-6686 to receive a link via SMS. You may receive a charge for receiving SMS.
