CBC's annual Vacation Bible School is Monday, July 13th, through Friday, July 17th, from 9am-noon!
All children, ages 4 (by September 1st) through youth entering 6th grade, are invited to join us for "Illumination Station!"
You are invited to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher, but He is much more than that.
At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.
Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
We use a computer check-in/out system for all children. When you arrive to drop off your child(ren), please make sure any child(ren) attending are registered for VBS. (By pre-registering, your child's information will already be in our system, and we can simply look them up by name!) Registration tables will be set up outside in front of the building. Once registered, your child(ren) will enter the building. Our group leaders will check in your child(ren) at the start of VBS and check them out when you arrive to pick them up. Please wait to collect your child until they have been checked out. By ensuring they are accounted for, you are helping us maintain their safety at VBS.
If your child is in the same age group as last year and still has their VBS t-shirt, we encourage you to reuse last year's shirt. However, if for any reason you don't have a shirt or your child is going into the next group, please pick up a t-shirt at the registration table. Please dress your child in this shirt throughout the week, so they can easily be identified with their group.
After completing the registation or confirming your registration, the children will enter the building through the main (upstairs) entrance via the stairs or elevator and find their team in the CBC Commons room. They will remain with this group throughout the day’s activities.
A note about crafts: We will have a table for each group where any crafts they made during the day will be kept. Please collect your child(ren)'s craft projects when you arrive to pick them up!
The Closing Ceremony will be held on Friday, July 17th, at 11:45 a.m. Come see your child(ren) perform the songs they learned during the week. All families are invited!
The Family BBQ will follow the closing ceremony on Friday, the 17th, in CBC's North Parking Lot. Join us for food, fellowship and fun! All families are invited!

We care about your child’s safety.
All VBS staff have been background-checked and trained in child safety. Underage volunteers will work under the supervision of a trained adult. We will have a building security keeping an eye on vehicles coming and going, and directing traffic to maintain safety and flow. We also have a medical team on site to assess and appropriately handle any injuries or illnesses that may arise. Rest assured, we are doing all we can to care for your child while they are entrusted to us.
We will be playing outside each day as weather permits, so please dress your child(ren) for summer weather, including sturdy shoes for them to run around in! If you wish your child(ren) to wear sunscreen, please apply it before sending them to VBS.
If your child(ren) requires or may need any medications administered while they are at VBS (including EpiPens or inhalers), please give them to our medical team with any instructions.
